My First Glam Bag

I am a sucker. A complete sucker. When I received an email from myglam saying that they would be offering new subscriptions soon, I jumped on it right away and put myself on the waiting list. A little less than two weeks later, I got my offer. And now, here we are...

They are a bit different from Birchbox in that they don't tailor the samples to your profile. But they usually have good products anyway, so that didn't stop me (obvs).

Unlike Birchbox, the Glam Bags come in these cute little bags instead of boxes. They are pretty small, but can be used either as a little clutch, purse or make-up bag. I'm just worried that if I keep my subscription for a long time, I'm gonna have a crap ton of these little bags laying around. Anyway, here are the products included:

1. Philosophy Take a Deep Breath Oil-Free Oxygen Gel Cream Moisturizer - I usually chuck any kind of moisturizers that are included in my sample boxes, but I think this one I will actually try. From what it says on the myglam website, it looks like this should be used when you go to bed.

2. Marbella Permanent Eyeliner Pen in Black - Okay the name of this product is a bit misleading since it actually isn't permanent. The funny thing is I didn't even notice the "permanent" part when I swatched it on my hand last night. I tried rubbing it off and it wouldn't come off, but I was just like whatevs about it. It was only when I actually put it on this morning that I realized this was a permanent eyeliner. BUT this is actually more semi-permanent. It does eventually wash off (the swatch on my hand came off with just a bit of soap and warm water). I've never had an eyeliner pen so I thought this was pretty cool. It's very easy to use and it's a nice intense black.

3. NYX Round Lipstick in Georgia - I already own a couple of NYX lipsticks and I love them all so I was very happy to add this to my growing collection.

4. Living Proof frizz Nourishing Styling Cream - Okay so my hair doesn't really get frizzy, but I have noticed that since I started coloring my hair, it's a bit more poofy (?) and looks dry (obvs) when I don't apply any product before blow drying. I don't think this product is just for people with curly or wavy hair, so I am really excited to see what this will do to my straight hair.
