  • Bath & Body Works Scented Candle in Sicilian Orange - I never used to be a candle person, but this one day my cousin dragged me to the Bath & Body Works store to go candle shopping. I had run out of my Pineapple Mango one ages ago and although I very much enjoyed it, I never purchased it again. Anyway, that story doesn't really have a point other than I ended up purchasing two of these. I love anything fruity smelling (especially citrus) so I picked this out right away. I need to go back ASAP because I'm almost out. Long story short: I'm a candle person now. Candles are cool.
  • theBalm Hot Mama Shadow & Blush All-in-One - Got this in my December Birchbox, but never used it until last month. It's a sort of shimmery pink/peachy tone that works perfectly for my skin. You don't need a whole lot either. Just a swipe and you have a nice, natural glow. I think this is great for summer. I use it as both eye shadow and blush.
  • Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle - This spray basically does it all. Whatever you can think of, it probably does it. Okay, it doesn't do everything, but it does a lot that you can probably cut down your hair goo collection from 8 to just 2 if you purchased this. This acts a detangler, leave-in conditioner, heat protector, UV protector and it seals in your cuticles. Best of all, it smells amazing. It reminds of the Ojon Total Hair Therapy oil. It leaves my hair SUPER soft and shiny.
  • Confessions of a Hairstylist by Jenny Strebe - Okay, I'm not a hair person, meaning I don't mess around with my hair all too much. It's either up in a bun or down and if I'm really feeling up to, I'll occasionally curl it. I don't do braids, up-do's, etc. because I just don't know how. So one day, I found this tutorial on Pinterest on how to do a messy braid up-do. Seemed easy enough to me since all I needed to do was a basic braid. Basically I became obsessed with this do and vowed to master it. After finding that Jenny had her own blog, I went on the interwebs and spend like 8 hours just going through her entire blog. She really has a knack for breaking down hair tutorials and making it easy to understand. She's also very encouraging and sweet. Anyway, she's amazing and I highly recommend her blog for all your hair tutorial needs.
  • Star Trek: Into Darkness - I know so random, but I had to include it because I saw this movie twice. I mainly wanted to see it because I love Benedict Cumberbatch and was super excited for him to be in such a huge film. I'd do a recap of all my favorite parts and stuff, but I honestly can't remember since for the majority of the film, I was just lost in the Sea of Cerulean that were Benedict and Chris Pine's eyes.
