Swatches - MAC Archie's Girls Lipsticks

Daddy's Little Girl, Betty Bright, Boyfriend Stealer

Hey everyone! A couple of days ago, I posted a photo of the MAC Archie's Girls lipsticks that I bought. Now, I usually don't care for MAC's collections and I'm not one of those people that has to buy something from each collection that comes out. I mean if I happen to see something from a collection that I like, I'll consider getting it, but I usually never keep up with them.

However, when I find out about the Archie's Girls collection, I KNEW I had to get something from it. I used to be obsessed with the comics and had a legit collection. I don't know where they are anymore since we moved around a lot during junior high and high school so they are probably lost forever...

Anyway, I searched around the interwebs for swatches of the lipsticks because I knew a lot of the big beauty bloggers probably already had their hands on the products. After about 6 minutes of some intense Googling, I decided on getting 2 lipsticks: Betty Bright and Boyfriend Stealer. My mom then asked if I could get her Daddy's Little Girl since this collection won't be out in the UK until the summer.

I didn't swatch Daddy's Little Girl because it's for my mom and I wanted it to be untouched and brand new when I sent it to her. However, my good friend Steffi at Pretty in Plum purchased DLG and will be posting swatches of her Archie purchases sometime soon.

I know a lot of people didn't really like Boyfriend Stealer but I quite like that it's not opaque. The finish is Creme Sheen so I wasn't expecting it to be very pigmented. Betty Bright is very bright indeed and it will be fun to wear in the summer. It is Satin finish although it looks matte in my picture. Both shades were pretty good representations of each girl. I love both shades and will definitely wear them both, but I'll be honest, I've always been a Veronica girl so Boyfriend Stealer will probably get a little more attention than Betty Bright ;)
