So today I bought my ticket to my very first IMATS. I actually was supposed to get it ages ago when my friend planned the trip, but for some reason I kept lagging. But anyway, I can't even describe the level of excitement that I'm feeling. It's really a dream come true. I really hope to take away lots of inspiration from the people I see and meet.
Anyway, this past weekend I went slightly polish-crazy. I had to go out and buy myself new red nail polish because the one I had was way old. Needless to say, I saw these other colors and felt the need to start building up a new collection.

Oddly enough I didn't even put on the red one, and opted for the grey color. I always see people going out and buying brands like China Glaze, OPI, etc. which is fine, but I actually prefer Sally Hansen because I love that it's long-wearing and much cheaper. I've had Grey Area on since last Thursday and have had no chipping of any sort, except for the usual chipping around the cuticle area.
And finally, what is the emotastic title of "Dyeing Decisions" all about? Well, if you couldn't already tell from pictures I've posted of myself before, my hair is almost jet black. Ladies and gents, believe it or not, my current hair color is au naturel. I have always been okay with never having any color to my hair and was actually proud of the fact that I didn't feel the need for it. The last time I dyed it was when I was about 16 years old, so roughly 8 years ago. Anyway, for whatever reason, this week I decided that I would. I'm probably gonna opt for a nice dark auburn color. I really like Emma Stone's hair when it was dark (I believe she's now blonde). She's had her hair a little bit more red than that, but I don't know that I'm ready for such a big change.
I have made an appointment with my hairdresser for tomorrow and you can bet I'll be taking before and after pictures! Can't wait to share with you guys. By the way, I blame my coworker Yorsh for this. If he didn't make me watch "Easy A" so much, I don't think coloring my hair would have even crossed my mind.
So check back tomorrow for before and after pictures. This is a big moment for me. Let's try to take in the importance of this event... Just kidding.
